H2O nanotec s.r.o.

H2O nanotec s.r.o is a Czech company found in 2015 by two fellows, which have the goal to offer the customers the best available technology. Jiří Polman PhD is an organic chemist with research experience from the Academy of Sciences and big international chemical enterprises and Eng. Milan Vrba is a mechanical engineer and expert on the design of new industrial products. This is an ideal personal combination to boost the design of really innovative products. They desire to convince everybody that the water treated in your home (regardless if it comes from the public facility or your own well) can be much better than water in bottles from the shops.

The company will work on further research and development of nanotechnologies for water treatment in the household and office.

Research and development

H2O nanotec s.r.o. is also doing research of new possibilities, which nanotechnology offers for water cleaning. We see here endless possibilities, because the nano-particles exhibit unique properties. For example, their surface area is order of magnitude bigger than any other material and have almost magic adsorption capabilities. On the other side, thanks to their size, which is comparable with the electron wavelength offer miraculous catalytic capabilities. We would like to study both phenomena in the future in cooperation with Technical University in Liberec.

ALL WHAT WE DO, WE DO IT ECO-FRIENDLY

H2O nanotec considers the protection of the environment as part of our genome. All what we do must be ecologic. Our filtration inserts are regenerated and when their capacity is exhausted, they are environmental-friendly disposed. Harmful substances (drug residuals, hormones and their metabolites, pesticides etc,) adsorbed in our filters are extracted in a special patented process and environmentally friendly disposed in high-temp. incinerator.

Traditional carbon filters end up usually in landfill and the pollutants enter the underground water and pollute the environment again.

furthermore, using H20 nanotec filter save the environment another way: When you stop buying bottled water, you save tons of energy (and CO2) needed to transport heavy bottles and energy needed for the production of PET polymer and bottles. Not all PET bottles are recycled and pollute our environment for many years.

Average family (parents + 2 children), which does not have access to high-quality tap water, needs to buy bottled water. Usually consumes 2 packs of drinking water per week.

2 packs per week, when used only for drinking (not for cooking), represent 12 bottles. The most economic bottled water costs ca. 0,5 EUR per bottle, but can be also significantly more expensive. The weekly cost is ca 6 EUR and half year cost is 156 EUR. You have to think about buying bottled water all the time and carry heavy loads.

Filtration inserts, which will produce your half-year consumption not only for drinking, but also for cooking costs 63 EURO (if you return the old insert back, you get 13 EUR discount. The net cost is 50 EUR. You save 106 EUR in 6 months.
