ALERT:

Filter is designed to clean water supplied from the public water system. If you use your own water well (this usually contains more organic substances than public water net) it is recommended to install standard sand or paper filter ahead of H2O nanotec filter to capture the coarse impurities and extend the lifetime of the filter cartridge.

The average lifetime of the filter cartridge is 6 month (for 4 persons home). However, the life time can vary, depending on the tap water quality, esp. on the amount of organic substances in the water. When the water throughput gets significantly lower, from ca 5l/min to ca 2,5 l/min) it is likely the time to change the filter cartridge.
