Filter cartridge B (AC) for IMT-NF6 — activated carbon
Cartridge B is the second filtration stage of the IMT-NF6 reverse osmosis system. Its activated carbon (AC) media removes chlorine and organic odours from the water, so the filtered water has no off-taste. It also protects the reverse osmosis membrane (C), which chlorine damages.
When to replace the cartridge
The recommended replacement interval is 12 months. Saturated activated carbon stops capturing chlorine and odours, so do not exceed the interval even if the flow rate stays the same.
