Filter cartridge A (PP) for IMT-NF6 — mechanical pre-filtration
Cartridge A is the first filtration stage of the IMT-NF6 reverse osmosis system. The polypropylene (PP) media captures coarse and medium-sized particles — sand, rust and other undissolved impurities. This protects the following stages: the activated carbon cartridge (B) and the reverse osmosis membrane (C).
When to replace the cartridge
The recommended replacement interval is 12 months. If your water contains more impurities, the cartridge clogs faster and should be replaced sooner. A clogged pre-filter reduces the flow rate and puts strain on the RO membrane.
