Filter cartridge C (RO) for IMT-NF6 — reverse osmosis membrane
Cartridge C contains a reverse osmosis membrane and is the main filtration stage of the IMT-NF6 reverse osmosis system. The membrane captures the vast majority of substances dissolved in water. It is protected from mechanical impurities and chlorine by the upstream cartridges A (PP) and B (activated carbon).
When to replace the cartridge
The membrane lasts 24–36 months depending on the quality of the incoming water. With hard or contaminated water, the membrane clogs faster. Replacing cartridges A and B regularly every 12 months extends membrane life.
