Filter cartridge C for IMT-NC9 — activated carbon and pH adjustment
Cartridge C is the third and final stage of the IMT-NC9 nanofiltration system (PPC + NF + C). It contains activated carbon, which captures substances that pass through the nanofiltration membrane — for example uncharged pesticides such as atrazine or long-chain PFAS. The cartridge also raises the water pH to 7 or above, so the filtered water is slightly alkaline and tastes good.
When to replace the cartridge
The recommended replacement interval is 6–12 months, at the latest after 12 months. The cartridge is replaced in a few seconds thanks to its bayonet fitting.
