NF filter cartridge — 0.001 μm nanofiltration membrane
The NF cartridge is the main filtration stage of both the IMT-NC9 nanofiltration system and the IMT-RS8 NANO. The membrane with a pore size of 0.001 μm removes viruses and bacteria, chlorine, pesticides, antibiotics, analgesics, hormones, drugs, heavy metals, iron, manganese, arsenic, nitrates, nitrites and microplastics from water. Unlike reverse osmosis, it keeps valuable minerals in the water.
When to replace the cartridge
The membrane lasts 24–36 months depending on the quality of the incoming water. The device's automatic flushing extends membrane life. The cartridge is replaced in a few seconds thanks to its bayonet fitting.
