Filter cartridge (RO) — reverse osmosis membrane for IMT-RS8 and IMT-NC9 R
The cartridge contains a reverse osmosis membrane with a pore size of 0.0001 μm. It is the main filtration stage of the IMT-RS8 reverse osmosis system and the IMT-NC9 R special reverse osmosis system, where together with the R ion-exchange cartridge it produces ultrapure water. It is protected from impurities and chlorine by the upstream PPC cartridge.
When to replace the cartridge
The recommended replacement interval is 24–36 months depending on the quality of the incoming water. In the IMT-NC9 R, where ultrapure water is essential, we recommend replacing it after 24 months at the latest. Replacing the PPC cartridge on time extends membrane life.

Which devices does the RO cartridge fit?
The IMT-RS8 and IMT-NC9 R. The IMT-NF6 uses a different membrane (cartridge C for IMT-NF6).
Why is the cartridge moist?
A reverse osmosis membrane must stay moist, otherwise it would be damaged. The moisture is therefore not a defect.
How long does the membrane last?
24–36 months depending on water quality; in the IMT-NC9 R we recommend replacing it after 24 months at the latest.
