Reverse osmosis for dental practices, dental hygiene clinics and laboratories — ultrapure water instead of distilled water
The special IMT-NC9 R reverse osmosis system produces ultrapure water with guaranteed conductivity up to 5 µS/cm for dental practices, dental hygiene clinics and laboratories. In normal operation, conductivity stays around 2 µS/cm. The water is suitable for dental chairs, dental hygiene chairs and autoclaves (steam sterilisers) of all classes. It removes viruses, bacteria, heavy metals, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, microplastics and nanoplastics. You will significantly cut the cost of buying or producing distilled water: just turn the tap and ultrapure water flows. The unit has been proven in practice in several dental practices and was designed by the F. A. Porsche design studio.
No more cleaning the distiller — more time for patients
A distiller produces water slowly and has to be laboriously descaled after every cycle. This daily routine takes up time that a nurse, dental assistant or dental hygienist could spend with patients. With the IMT-NC9 R, daily cleaning and monitoring of water production disappear completely. Ultrapure water is ready whenever you need it, and the only maintenance is replacing the filter cartridges once a year — the unit reminds you when it's time. The result: more time for patients, fewer worries and quiet, clean operation with no limescale.
Three filtration stages — PPC + RO + R
The IMT-NC9 R system works with three filter cartridges:
- PPC: water pre-treatment.
- RO: special reverse osmosis membrane with a filtration rating of 0.0001 μm.
- R: special ion-exchange cartridge for thorough polishing of the water to ultrapure quality.
The PPC and R cartridges last up to 12 months, the RO membrane up to 24 months. All materials used are certified for drinking water and the functional parts of the filter are made of stainless steel.
Fully automatic operation with display
The IMT-NC9 R is equipped with a 150 W pump and a clear integrated display. The display shows the unit status and filter life and alerts you when maintenance is needed. Automatic flushing keeps the membrane in good condition without any operator intervention. With a flow rate of 2.23 l/min, it supplies ultrapure water throughout the working day. Filter replacement takes 5 seconds thanks to the bayonet lock, without interrupting the water supply.
SMART faucet with Wi-Fi and the E-Water app (optional)
In the SMART faucet version (matte black only), the unit continuously measures TDS (total dissolved solids) and displays water quality in real time. The unit can be connected to a Wi-Fi network and controlled via the E-Water mobile app. The SMART faucet is used exclusively for dispensing filtered water. It is not a three-way faucet.

How often are the filter cartridges in the IMT-NC9 R replaced?
The PPC and R cartridges last up to 12 months, the RO membrane up to 24 months. The unit monitors filter life itself and shows a replacement alert on the display.
How are the filters in the IMT-NC9 R replaced?
Filter replacement takes 5 seconds thanks to the bayonet lock, and no tools are needed. Procedure:
- Shut off the water supply to the unit.
- Open the filtered water tap to release the pressure.
- Replace the cartridge.
- Open the water supply again.
What if our water is very hard or highly mineralised?
The IMT-NC9 R handles very hard and highly mineralised water without any problems. The reverse osmosis membrane together with the R ion-exchange cartridge reliably removes calcium, magnesium and other dissolved salts, so ultrapure water with conductivity up to 5 µS/cm is guaranteed even from hard water.
