The device combines a shut-off valve with smart electronics that continuously monitor water flow, pipe pressure, water temperature and room humidity. How does the smart detection system work?
The device is installed on the main water supply and continuously evaluates the situation in the pipes.
It works in three steps:
1. Monitoring – the device continuously tracks flow, pipe pressure, water temperature and humidity around the unit.
2. Evaluation – if the sensors register a sudden increase in flow or a leak that lasts too long (sensitivity from 1–2 l/h), the processor treats the situation as an emergency.
3. Valve shut-off – the motorised valve immediately shuts off the water supply and the system reports the event.
The system can be expanded with up to 8 wireless floor sensors, simply placed under the dishwasher, washing machine or in the basement – on contact with water, a sensor immediately signals the main unit, which closes the valve.

Installation and technology
The detector is installed on the main water supply to the building.
Installation steps:
- Choose a suitable installation point on the main water supply with access to a power socket.
- Mount the device using a G1" or G3/4" fitting (for the LA6 type, the supplied G1/2" reducer can be used).
- Use the supplied seals to seal the joints.
- Connect the 220 V / 50 Hz power adapter.
- Optionally place wireless floor sensors at risk points (under the dishwasher, washing machine, in the basement).
- In the E-WATER mobile app or directly on the device, set the maximum flow, volume per opening or flow time limits.
G1" / G3/4" / G1/2" connection sizes (depending on the type) allow installation on standard water systems with an operating pressure of 0.1–0.4 MPa. For reliable operation we recommend professional installation.
Will the detector reduce water pressure or flow in the home?
No. The detector is designed for a maximum flow of 4 m3/h (LA6) or 6 m3/h (LA8), well above typical household consumption, so it does not affect comfort in normal use. It operates within an operating pressure range of 0.1–0.4 MPa, which matches standard water systems.
How often should I check and maintain the detector?
The detector has no consumable filter media, but it is worth checking it regularly so that it really works in an emergency.
We recommend regularly checking:
- that the wireless floor sensors work,
- the charge of the lithium backup batteries in the sensors and the main unit,
- that the connection to the water pipe is tight,
- access to the E-WATER mobile app and the WiFi connection, if you control the device this way,
- that the remote control works.
