A great-value solution for two showers and long-term use

The IMT-J2 set is a practical choice for households that want to filter shower water in two bathrooms, equip two separate showers or have spare filter cartridges ready for the next replacement.

In one discounted pack you get 2 complete IMT-J2 shower filters and 2 replacement filter cartridges. You do not have to order the products separately, and you have the spare cartridges right at hand.

Contents of the 2 + 2 value set

2× IMT-J2 shower filter

Two complete filters for installation on two showers or in two bathrooms.

2× replacement filter cartridge

One spare cartridge for each filter, ready for its regular replacement.

How does the IMT-J2 shower filter work?

As you shower, the water passes through several filter media, each with a different role. The filter reduces residual chlorine, reduces some metals and captures sediment and mechanical impurities before the water passes through the shower head.

The filter media combine SUS stainless steel mesh, KDF media and calcium sulphite. You will find a detailed description on the IMT-J2 shower filter product page.

Actual performance and cartridge life always depend on the quality and composition of the incoming water, its temperature, the flow rate and how much the shower is used.

Who is the value set for?

  • households with two bathrooms or two showers,
  • families with higher shower water consumption,
  • customers who want spare cartridges ready in advance,
  • equipping a flat, house, apartment or holiday home,
  • customers who want to save compared with buying the products separately.

Installation in about 5 minutes

The filter uses a standard universal 1/2" thread and is installed between the shower mixer and the hose, or between the shower arm and the shower head. It is compatible with most standard hand-held, wall-mounted, rain and combination shower systems with the same connection.

Installation usually requires no plumber or special tools. The filter works on mains water pressure alone, so it needs no electricity, pump or drain connection.

Installation steps:

  1. Turn off the water and unscrew the shower hose or shower head.
  2. Check that the seal is inserted correctly.
  3. Screw the IMT-J2 filter onto the water supply.
  4. Connect the shower hose or shower head to the filter.
  5. Carefully turn on the water and check the joints for leaks.

How often should the filter cartridge be replaced?

The cartridge lasts up to 6 months or 150,000 litres. The actual interval depends mainly on water quality, the amount of chlorine and sediment, the number of users and how often they shower.

Also replace the cartridge if a stronger chlorine smell returns, the flow drops or larger amounts of deposits build up in the filter.
