Purolite® A520E – anion resin for nitrate removal
The branded Purolite® A520E media is a selective anion exchange resin designed to remove nitrates, nitrites and sulphates from drinking water. It is added to the IMT-S2 (4 l) and IMT-S4 (8 l) automatic softeners.
The media is certified in the Czech Republic for contact with drinking water under Decree No. 409/2005 Coll. It is regenerated with brine (NaCl), using the same regeneration salt as the softener. Its service life is up to 8 years, depending on the inlet water quality.
