What is a water pressure regulator for?
It reduces and stabilises the inlet pressure in the household plumbing. This protects taps, appliances, filter cartridges and membranes from excessive stress.
What is the difference between the IMT-M5 and IMT-M8?
The IMT-M5 regulates both dynamic and static pressure and has a pre-filter. The IMT-M8 also adds an automatic flushing valve.
Where is the pressure regulator installed?
Directly at the water inlet to the house, right after the main shut-off valve, i.e. before filters and softeners.
Do I need a regulator if I have a filter or softener?
We recommend it. Stable pressure extends the service life of ultrafiltration, the softener and other equipment in the house.
