What are ozone generators used for?
Ozone generators produce ozone water for the hygienic care of laundry, surfaces and food without chemical refills or consumables. They complement standard cleaning and washing routines for households and businesses that want to reduce chemicals in everyday hygiene.
How does the ozone generator for washing machines work?
The device produces ozone (O₃) from oxygen in the ambient air and mixes it with water using the Venturi principle. The resulting ozone water is fed directly into the washing machine during the wash cycle and is used for the hygienic care of laundry and the inside of the machine. After use, ozone naturally breaks down back into oxygen without chemical residues.
How is ozone water produced in portable bottles?
The BioSure Professional and H3000 Mini portable bottles use electrolysis – ozone is generated directly in tap water by titanium anodes powered by a built-in battery. Ozone water is intended for immediate use; its activity lasts approximately 10–15 minutes.
Is ozone water a substitute for certified disinfection?
No. The products in this category are intended for hygienic care as a complement to standard cleaning procedures. They are not medical devices or biocidal products within the meaning of applicable legislation and do not replace certified disinfection.
Can ozone water be used on food?
The ecological food steriliser is designed specifically for treating fruit, vegetables, meat and seafood in an ozone bath. With portable bottles and the ozone surface cleaner, food must always be rinsed with drinking water afterwards.
Do I need to buy refills or consumables?
No. All devices work solely with water and electricity, without chemical refills or filters. The ecological food steriliser requires regular descaling with citric acid according to the manual – the device automatically reminds you after every 48 hours of operation.
